International Wave of Light Presented by B.E.S.T. to Launch Non-Profit Organization
SAN ANTONIO, TX – Baby Education For South Texas embarks into the non-profit world by hosting a candle light ceremony in celebration and remembrance of National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day on the rooftop of the Paramour on October 15, 2016 at 7pm.
A candle lighting ceremony will be taking place at 7pm in all time zones around the world creating a continuous wave of light. The rooftop commemoration will create a beacon across the San Antonio cityscape to honor the infants lost during pregnancy and early childhood. A social gathering will begin at 6pm as a fundraiser to support B.E.S.T. community-wide initiatives to reduce infant mortality in Bexar County. A minimum donation of $20 per person is requested. Charcuterie, cheese and limited wine reception provided.Over 20% of all previously healthy infant deaths occur due to preventable causes. B.E.S.T. is 501(c)(3) organization established to be operated exclusively for improving the health and well-being of infants, decreasing infant mortality, and promoting healthy development by supporting community resources, and enhancing health education, advocacy, and awareness.For more information email sgarzacox@Best4Baby.org or
