Dr. Nicholas Carr grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences as well as his Medical Degree from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He completed a residency program in Pediatrics at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Virginia before specializing in Neonatal Medicine at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC), in San Antonio, Texas.
He continues to serve as an active duty Neonatologist in the United States Air Force as well as serves as the Medical Director for Newborn Medicine at San Antonio Military Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas. Â He is board certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Â
Dr. Carr is dedicated to improving the quality of medical education, clinical research, and patient advocacy through his active roles in the community. He serves as a founding Board Member for Baby Education for South Texas.
